Bristol Baptist Church celebrates 75 years of membership of Anna Davis
On November 27th the membership of Bristol Baptist Church celebrated long term active member Anna Davis with a surprise lunch as well as flowers and a certificate to commemorate the occasion of her 75 years of membership at Bristol Baptist.
Even before Anna became a member she attended Bristol Baptist as a young girl and remembers having to walk to church across the covered bridge on Spring Street at the time. In fact, Anna was the last person to walk across the covered bridge before it fell into the river, while she and her sister where on their way to an Easter rehearsal at the church.
Over the years Anna has been involved in the life of the church, having been a Sunday school teacher as well as a Deaconess, and still serves on the Mission Board of Bristol Baptist as well as being active with the Fidelis ladies Missionary society.
Her commitment to her Lord Jesus Christ, and to her beloved church fellowship at Bristol Baptist, is a rare accomplishment that deserves to be recognized as truly remarkable.
